Season 5 Arrives in Early August

Over the weekend, marketing for Season 5 ramped up with the announcement of a surprising crossover: I Know What You Did Last Summer. The horror movie tie-in will reportedly bring the iconic Fisherman character to the game as a premium operator skin, though full details of the collaboration remain under wraps.

In addition to the upcoming update, speculation about Black Ops 7 has already begun. A recent ESRB rating hinted that Activision may continue its controversial Carry Forward feature, allowing players to bring select cosmetics such as weapon blueprints and operator skins from Black Ops 6 into the next title.
