Activision has addressed a significant issue in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 by restoring lost account progress and saves for Multiplayer and Zombies players. Following the game’s first major update, many fans reported their progression, Medals, and Intel being reset—especially in the Zombies mode. Thankfully, this problem has now been resolved.
A Persistent Problem Finally Fixed
Since its launch, Black Ops 6 has captivated fans with its trio of modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. While Zombies often stands alone as a fan-favorite survival mode, this installment integrates Zombies into Campaign missions, enticing more players to explore its chaotic charm. However, many players who completed Zombies Easter eggs or made significant strides in Camo challenges faced frustrating resets after the first major update.
Activision has confirmed that these issues have been addressed. According to a statement on the official Call of Duty Twitter account, lost data, including solo saves, Medals, Intel, and account progress, has been restored through backups. Affected players should find their missing progress available upon logging in. Activision also encourages players to contact support if the issue persists.
Restored Progress, But Not Without Caveats
The patch notes detail that updates 1 and 2 caused progress disruptions, impacting features like Weapon Camo, Emblems, and Calling Card tracking. While this progress has been successfully recovered, some aspects—like character customizations and loadouts—remain unrecovered. Players will need to manually reconfigure these elements to their previous states.
This resolution highlights Activision’s commitment to ensuring player satisfaction, even as Black Ops 6 continues to evolve. With the progression issue behind them, players can refocus on completing challenges, hunting Easter eggs, and dominating the competition.
For any lingering issues, Activision Support remains ready to assist.
