Greetings, Gaminghq community! We have some exciting updates and announcements regarding our Rust server and a new addition to our staff team.
Custom Map Update
You spoke, and we listened! Our Rust server will feature the custom map we developed at the beginning of the year. While it’s still a work in progress and may contain a few minor bugs, the community’s enthusiasm outweighed any concerns. However, before we dive into more details, we have a special introduction to make.
Welcome, SenorYones!
Please join us in welcoming SenorYones to our team! He’ll be assisting with the Rust server and is eager to help with any questions or issues you may have. By day, SenorYones has his own adventures, but in his free time, you can catch him exploring Rust’s wilderness or hanging out on our Discord server. We’re thrilled to have him on board and look forward to great times together.
Server Status & Plugin List
Unfortunately, not all plugins are ready, and there’s still work to be done. Personal matters, such as finding a new home due to my current landlord selling the property, have delayed progress. With these challenges, I’ve been unable to fully prepare the server for launch this month. Specific tasks, like setting up loot tables and roleplay kits, are still pending.
While I can technically bring the server online, there’s a risk of downtime during updates, especially while I’m in the middle of moving. To avoid any interruptions or issues, we’ve decided to postpone the release of the custom map and the server’s full launch until next month. We understand this is disappointing for many who have been eagerly awaiting the server’s return, but we want to ensure everything is done right.
What’s Coming
Here’s a sneak peek at the plugins we’ve set up so far, designed to enhance your Rust experience:
– Convoy
– BetterNPC
– Raidable Bases
– Armored Train
– Build Tools (including features like removal, skinning, and upgrading)
– Defendable Bases
– DailyRewards
– Epic Loot
– Loot Reroll
– Crafts (featuring the classic Mevent’s Crafting menu)
– HUD panel
Additionally, we’re investing in a new plugin from Mevent, which will provide a comprehensive information panel. This will include details on reporting bugs, player issues, and handy command references, all in one place.
We hope you’re as excited as we are for these new features and enhancements. While we have to wait a little longer than usual, we’re committed to delivering a top-notch experience. We’re aiming to launch the server next month with everything polished and ready for an epic adventure.
Much paws and purrs,
Noize and the Gaminghq Team
