Rockstar Games has officially revealed Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, and unlike the game itself at launch, the soundtrack is getting a proper physical release.
The official GTA 6 soundtrack will launch alongside the game on November 19, 2026, featuring 34 original tracks created to capture the atmosphere of Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.
Better yet for collectors, Rockstar isn’t limiting the album to streaming services. Both CD and vinyl editions are coming, including a rather unusual limited-edition vinyl.
GTA 6 Soundtrack Gets CD and Vinyl Editions
Rockstar has partnered with Atlantic Records for Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album.
The complete album contains 34 original songs from a wide range of artists and genres. Pre-orders have already opened for several physical versions.
The main editions include:
- CD — €16.99 through the European official store
- Vinyl — €51.99
- Limited-Edition Vinyl — €123.99
The regular vinyl comes as a two-record set, while the premium version takes things much further.
Rockstar’s limited-edition release features two transparent magenta vinyl records filled with blue liquid, accompanied by exclusive artwork and packaging inspired by GTA 6.
There will also be several retailer-exclusive vinyl variants featuring alternative colors and artwork.
Six GTA 6 Songs Are Already Available
Players don’t have to wait until November to hear what Rockstar has been working on.
Six songs from the 34-track album have already been released:
- Yung Lean feat. Future & Metro Boomin — That’s It
- Travis Scott — RHYNO
- CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. & Etienne de Crécy — Sexy Magic
- Morgan Wallen — Last Thing You Need
- Rauw Alejandro — Macacoa 2000
- Keith Richards — Bright Lights, Big City
Travis Scott’s RHYNO also has an interesting name attached behind the scenes, as the track was produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, one half of the former electronic duo Daft Punk.
The remaining 28 tracks have yet to be revealed.
Don’t Expect This to Be the Entire GTA 6 Radio Soundtrack
The 34-track album shouldn’t be confused with every song that will appear across GTA 6’s radio stations.
Grand Theft Auto games traditionally feature huge licensed music libraries alongside original material. Rockstar itself says more information is still coming about GTA 6’s dynamic score and the “next evolution” of its in-game radio.
That means the album is likely only one part of a significantly larger musical package.
Considering GTA 5 launched with hundreds of licensed songs across its radio stations, GTA 6 could once again feature an enormous collection spanning multiple genres.
A Physical Soundtrack While GTA 6 Goes Digital
There is also some irony surrounding the announcement.
While Rockstar is going all-in on physical CDs, vinyl records and even a premium liquid-filled collector’s edition for the soundtrack, GTA 6 itself is currently set for a digital-only launch.
For players who still value physical media, that makes Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album one of the few tangible GTA 6 products available around launch.
Whether Rockstar eventually releases the game itself on disc remains to be seen.
GTA 6 Music Is Only Getting Started
Music has always been an enormous part of Grand Theft Auto, and Rockstar clearly isn’t treating GTA 6 any differently.
Thirty-four original tracks, major artists, multiple physical editions and an entire new generation of in-game radio are already promised, while most of the album remains secret.
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album releases digitally on November 19, 2026, alongside GTA 6. Physical CD and vinyl editions are also available for pre-order, with the official store listing shipments beginning around launch.
