Pokemon Pokopia players have only a few days left to claim the latest batch of Nintendo Switch Online rewards. A new collection of character icons is currently available through the service, but Nintendo will remove the rewards on August 19.
Pokemon Pokopia has remained one of the biggest Nintendo Switch 2 releases of 2026. The game has continued to receive events, updates, and DLC following its successful launch. More content is also on the way through its Expansion Pass, giving players plenty of reasons to keep returning.
However, one of the latest bonuses has a much shorter deadline.
Pokemon Pokopia Icons Leave Nintendo Switch Online on August 19
Nintendo Switch Online members can currently claim several Pokemon Pokopia profile icons through the Missions and Rewards section of the service.
The rewards require Platinum Coins and will remain available until August 19. Once the current rotation ends, players should not assume that the icons will immediately return.
The available Pokemon Pokopia icons include:
- Dressed-up Peakychu
- Dressed-up Ditto
- Stereo Rotom
- Sleeping Ditto
- Lapras Ditto
- Professor Tangrowth
- Chef Dente Greedent
- Happy Charmander
Several of the designs are connected to content coming with Expansion Pass Part 2. In particular, the dressed-up versions of Peakychu and Ditto highlight the upcoming dress-up feature.
Players interested in collecting Nintendo Switch Online icons should therefore grab the ones they want before the August 19 deadline.
Previous Pokemon Pokopia Icons Have Already Expired
This is not the first Pokemon Pokopia icon collection Nintendo has released.
Another wave was available between August 5 and August 12. That collection included characters and designs such as Manaphy, Popplio, and Dragonite Ditto.
The rotating system means players who want to build a complete Pokopia collection need to keep an eye on each deadline. Missing a rotation could mean waiting for Nintendo to bring the rewards back at some point in the future, assuming it decides to do so.
Unlike some content inside Pokemon Pokopia itself, changing the system date will not provide access to expired Nintendo Switch Online rewards.
Pokemon Pokopia Continues to Receive New Content
The icon campaign arrives while Pokemon Pokopia continues to expand.
The Bubbly Basin DLC introduced additional Pokemon and activities, including the arrival of Feebas and Milotic. Events have also continued to give players new Pokemon and reasons to revisit different areas of the game.
Interestingly, some expired in-game Pokemon events can still be accessed by changing the Nintendo Switch 2 system date. However, that workaround does not apply to the Nintendo Switch Online Missions and Rewards store.
As a result, the August 19 deadline for the current icon collection is considerably more important for collectors.
Expansion Pass Part 2 Is Coming in Fall 2026
Pokemon Pokopia still has much more content planned.
Expansion Pass Part 2 is scheduled to launch during Fall 2026. Nintendo has not announced a specific release date yet, although some of the current Switch Online icons are already giving players a glimpse at its content.
The expansion will introduce the new dress-up functionality represented by characters such as Peakychu and Ditto in the latest icon collection.
Expansion Pass Part 3 is then expected in early 2027, with its current release window placing it somewhere around late January through March.
With additional DLC, events, and rewards planned, Pokemon Pokopia appears set to maintain a steady content schedule well beyond its initial release.
For now, Nintendo Switch Online members have a much closer deadline to worry about. Anyone who wants the latest Pokemon Pokopia icons should spend their Platinum Coins before August 19.
