Pokemon TCG Live players can currently claim two Ultra Rare full-art cards and a free Pitch Black booster pack through a limited-time redemption code.
The mid-expansion giveaway celebrates the halfway point of the Pitch Black expansion. It gives players a chance to strengthen their digital collections without spending additional currency.
The promotional code will remain available until September 16 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.

The code unlocks three rewards:
- Mega Zeraora ex Ultra Rare full-art card
- Mega Excadrill ex Ultra Rare full-art card
- One Pitch Black booster pack
Players must enter the code through the in-game shop inside Pokemon TCG Live.
The rewards should appear in the player’s collection after the redemption process has been completed.
Mega Zeraora ex Can Deliver Heavy Lightning Damage
Mega Zeraora ex focuses on building up Lightning Energy and converting that Energy into additional attack damage.
Its Thunderous Fist attack gains 60 extra damage for every Lightning Energy attached to Mega Zeraora ex. This gives the card strong damage potential when used inside a deck that can quickly move or attach multiple Energy cards.
Players who build their decks around Lightning Energy acceleration may be able to turn Mega Zeraora ex into a dangerous late-game attacker.
However, the card may require several turns of preparation before it can reach its maximum potential.
Mega Excadrill ex Can Deal 330 Damage
Mega Excadrill ex offers one of the most powerful attacks included in the giveaway.
Its Maximum Drilling attack can deal up to 330 damage when Mega Excadrill ex has two additional Energy cards attached beyond its normal attack requirement.
The attack already requires three Metal Energy. Players must therefore attach at least five Energy cards to activate its full damage output.
Although this requires a major investment, 330 damage can knock out many powerful Pokemon ex cards in a single attack.
Metal-focused decks may also have several ways to speed up the setup process. Cards such as Metang and Steven’s Metagross ex can help players accelerate Energy and prepare Mega Excadrill ex more efficiently.
Free Pitch Black Pack Can Contain Rare Cards
The ENDLESSNIGHT26 code also includes one Pitch Black booster pack.
Although one pack does not guarantee a major pull, players still have a chance to receive some of the expansion’s most valuable and visually impressive cards.
Possible pulls include Mega Hyper Rare cards and Special Illustration Rare cards. Mega Darkrai ex is among the high-rarity cards connected to the expansion.
Pitch Black introduced six Special Illustration Rare cards. These include characters such as:
- Mega Chandelure
- Mega Zeraora
- Morpeko
The expansion also added five new Supporter cards.
Several of these cards feature characters connected to Pokemon Legends: Z-A, including Gwynn and Jett. Returning Trainers such as Misty and Gladion also appear in the set.
Pitch Black Giveaway Arrives Before the Next Expansion
Pokemon TCG Live largely follows the structure and releases of the physical Pokemon Trading Card Game.
The ENDLESSNIGHT26 promotion appears to mark the middle of the Pitch Black expansion period. It also gives players something new to claim before the next major card release arrives.
The upcoming 30th Celebration expansion is expected to launch in early September. That set will reportedly include returning cards, new reprints and a new Futuristic Rare card category.
Until then, players can use the Pitch Black giveaway to collect two guaranteed full-art cards and potentially pull another rare card from the included booster pack.
