Steam users have another chance to try several PC games for free this weekend. Valve’s latest Steam Free Weekend promotion includes six titles across a variety of genres, giving players until July 27 at 12 PM CT to download and play them without spending a cent.
Whether you enjoy survival games, cooperative experiences, tactical shooters, or classic stealth adventures, there is something available for nearly every type of player.
Every Steam Free Weekend Game
The following games are free to play on Steam until July 27 at 12 PM CT:
- Icarus
- Firefighting Simulator: Ignite
- Killing Floor 3
- Wild Assault
- Unrailed 2: Back on Track
- Metal Gear Solid – Master Collection Version
Most of these titles also have temporary discounts for players who decide to purchase them after the free weekend ends.
Plenty of Variety for PC Players
The current selection offers a broad mix of gameplay styles.
Icarus is a session-based survival game where players gather resources, build shelters, and complete missions on a dangerous alien world.
Firefighting Simulator: Ignite lets players work together to tackle realistic fire emergencies using authentic firefighting equipment and vehicles.
Killing Floor 3 continues the popular co-op horror shooter series, challenging teams to survive relentless waves of bioengineered enemies.
Wild Assault delivers multiplayer action with fast-paced combat and hero-based gameplay.
Unrailed 2: Back on Track expands on the chaotic cooperative railway-building formula of its predecessor, encouraging teamwork as players build tracks across procedurally generated maps.
Finally, Metal Gear Solid – Master Collection Version allows players to experience some of the most iconic stealth games ever released, bringing together several classic entries from Konami’s legendary franchise.
Some Games Are Free on Other Platforms Too
Players who do not primarily game on PC still have alternative ways to try a couple of these titles.
Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is currently included with PlayStation Plus Extra, while Metal Gear Solid – Master Collection Version is also available through Xbox’s Free Play Days promotion during the same period.
However, the Steam Free Weekend remains the easiest option for PC players looking to sample these games before deciding whether to buy them.
Don’t Wait Too Long
The Steam Free Weekend promotion ends on July 27 at 12 PM CT. After that deadline, players will need to purchase the games to continue playing unless they are available through another subscription service or future promotion.
If you’ve been curious about any of these titles, this weekend offers a risk-free opportunity to see whether they’re worth adding permanently to your Steam library.
