Hasbro Announces The Legend of Zelda Figures, First Collectibles Coming in 2027

Hasbro The Legend of Zelda figures are officially on the way. Nintendo and Hasbro have announced a new licensing partnership that will bring collectible action figures based on the legendary franchise to stores in 2027. Before then, fans will get their first look at the upcoming collection during San Diego Comic-Con later this month.

Hasbro The Legend of Zelda Figures Debut at SDCC

Hasbro revealed the partnership on July 16. The company will officially unveil the first figures during San Diego Comic-Con, which begins on July 23.

Collectors can expect to see three 6-inch action figures. Hasbro has not confirmed which characters will appear in the first wave. However, the showcase will provide the first official look at the new collection long before its retail release.

Which Characters Could Join the First Wave?

Hasbro has not announced the first characters yet. Even so, several possibilities stand out.

One option is a lineup based on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake, which launches later this year. Link, Princess Zelda, and Ganondorf would make obvious choices if Hasbro wants to celebrate the remake.

Another possibility is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game remains one of Nintendo’s biggest successes and continues to attract new players. As a result, figures based on that version of Link and Zelda could appeal to a wide audience.

Nintendo and Hasbro may also mix characters from multiple games instead of focusing on a single title.

Why This Partnership Matters

The Legend of Zelda first launched in 1986 on the Famicom. Since then, the franchise has become one of Nintendo’s most recognizable series.

Every game presents its own version of Link, Zelda, and Ganon. Therefore, Hasbro has decades of designs to choose from. If the first wave performs well, future releases could feature heroes, villains, and companions from many different Zelda adventures.

Hasbro The Legend of Zelda Figures Release in 2027

Although fans will see the first figures in July, the retail launch will take place in 2027.

The early reveal gives collectors plenty of time to see what Hasbro has planned. More importantly, it marks the beginning of what could become a long-running collectible line for one of Nintendo’s most beloved franchises.

Whether the first wave focuses on Ocarina of Time, Breath of the Wild, or another game, Zelda fans finally have an officially licensed figure collection to look forward to.
