Pokemon Pokopia players have a new limited-time event to complete before the game’s first expansion arrives next month. The Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest is now live, giving players another reason to return while the developers continue supporting the hit town-building adventure.
Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest Is Now Live
The latest event runs from July 19 through July 27, 2026. Players who complete the challenge can earn exclusive in-game rewards and unlock a brand-new trophy.
To start the event, players must first rebuild at least one Pokémon Center. After meeting that requirement, simply speak to Zorua to begin the contest.
The challenge can be completed either in your own Cloud Islands area or by joining another player’s world. The fastest completion time becomes the best record for that town or Cloud Island, adding a competitive element for players chasing the quickest run.
While the event introduces new activities and rewards, it does not add any new Pokémon to the game.
Pokemon Pokopia Continues Receiving Regular Updates
Since launch, Pokemon Pokopia has maintained a steady schedule of updates. The developers have released limited-time events, quality-of-life improvements, and gameplay additions that keep players returning between larger content releases.
The strategy appears to be paying off. Pokemon Pokopia became an unexpected commercial success after launch, reaching a major sales milestone within just four days. The strong performance also helped contribute to Koei Tecmo’s record financial results.
Previous events have gone beyond cosmetics. For example, the earlier Wish Event introduced Jirachi, showing that seasonal events can sometimes include rare Pokémon.
Bubbly Basin DLC Launches in August
The game’s first paid expansion, Bubbly Basin, launches in August 2026 as part of the previously announced Expansion Pass.
The DLC introduces an underwater town where players can expand their community while enjoying new Pokémon interactions. Alongside the expansion, a free update will add the Dive mechanic, allowing underwater exploration and opening new town-building opportunities.
More Expansions Planned Through 2027
Pokemon Pokopia’s roadmap stretches well into next year.
The second expansion is scheduled for late 2026 and will introduce additional gameplay features, although the developers have not revealed full details yet.
The third expansion arrives in 2027 and will add an entirely new town for players to build and explore. During the Expansion Pass reveal, fans also spotted a brief teaser featuring Manaphy, suggesting more surprises could be waiting in future updates.
With another live event available and multiple expansions already planned, Pokemon Pokopia continues to receive long-term support well after its successful launch.
