Activision Accidentally Reveals ‘Sleighjacked’ Map in Black Ops 7

Activision appears to have accidentally revealed a new holiday-themed map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. A briefly visible update on the official game roadmap mentioned Sleighjacked, a Christmas variation of the fan-favorite map Hijacked, before it was quickly taken down.

The accidental reveal suggests that Sleighjacked will be included as part of the Season 1 content for Black Ops 7, following the game’s launch later this month.

A Festive Twist on a Classic Map

Hijacked, originally introduced in Black Ops 2, has long been a community favorite for its fast-paced, close-quarters combat set aboard a luxury yacht. The new Sleighjacked version appears to give the classic map a Christmas makeover, complete with holiday decorations and possibly festive environmental effects.

While Activision has since removed any mention of the map from its website, the brief appearance of Sleighjacked strongly hints that fans can expect it as a limited-time or seasonal addition.

Returning Maps and Season 1 Expectations

Hijacked isn’t the only nostalgic map returning this year. Activision has already confirmed that Nuketown will arrive in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on November 20, less than a week after launch. Two other classic Black Ops 2 maps — Standoff and Meltdown — are also slated to return alongside the Season 1 update, though no official date for that update has been provided yet.

Interestingly, Meltdown hasn’t been featured in a Call of Duty title for over thirteen years, making its comeback one of the most exciting surprises for long-time fans.

Treyarch Continues Developer Previews

Leading up to release, developer Treyarch Studios has been sharing insights through short development videos. The latest entry focused on UI and progression systems, confirming the return of Prestige Rewards. Players who reach Prestige 1 will receive an exclusive Operator Skin and Weapon Blueprint, along with new customizable HUD themes available across all three modes — Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies.

Release Date and Early Access Rumors

Despite circulating rumors about early access for pre-orders, Activision has officially confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will release on Friday, November 14, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Reports had previously suggested an early campaign or zombies access period for Vault Edition owners, but these claims were denied by the publisher. For now, all players can expect to dive into Black Ops 7’s full experience on its confirmed launch date.
