GTA Online Halloween Update Adds Free Benefactor Krieger

Rockstar Games continues the Halloween festivities in Grand Theft Auto Online with a brand-new update that went live on October 23. Available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, this update brings new rewards, discounts, and a free supercar for players to claim until November 5.

The Halloween Event Continues in Los Santos

The 2025 Halloween event kicked off earlier this month, bringing the undead back to the streets of Los Santos. Players can once again enjoy Zombie Survival, a fan-favorite mode that pits survivors against waves of zombies. The Slasher Adversary Mode also makes its return, alongside weekly rotations of Halloween-themed modes offering double rewards throughout October.

This week’s highlighted mode is Condemned, following earlier appearances of Beast vs. Slasher, Judgement Day, and Slasher. To close out the month, Slasher will return for one final round as the event reaches its conclusion.

Claim a Free Benefactor Krieger

As part of the seasonal celebration, Rockstar is giving away the Benefactor Krieger completely free of charge. Players can visit Legendary Motorsport in-game and claim the vehicle—normally priced at GTA$2,875,000—at no cost until November 5.

A special orange-and-black Halloween edition of the Krieger is also available at the Luxury Autos showroom for a small in-game fee. This exclusive version features festive cosmetics and unique upgrades, making it a perfect addition for the season.

New Cosmetics, Discounts, and Challenges

This week’s update also adds new Halloween-themed clothing and masks, alongside the return of eerie Halloween weather, which bathes the city in a haunting green glow. Players can also participate in new weekly challenges, check out vehicle discounts, and spin for the latest podium car at the Diamond Casino.

Rockstar continues to deliver consistent updates to keep GTA Online feeling fresh, with each week introducing new themed content and ways for players to earn double rewards.

What’s Next for GTA Online

While players eagerly await the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, Rockstar shows no signs of slowing down with its live service title. Recent leaks suggest that a mansion update could be coming later this year, potentially as part of the studio’s annual December update cycle.

Until then, players can make the most of the Halloween chaos across Los Santos, claim their free Krieger, and dive into the spooky seasonal content before it disappears on November 5.
