Microsoft is gearing up to add Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to Xbox Game Pass later this month, marking a significant addition to the subscription service. This 2023 title, developed by Sledgehammer Games, will be the first older Call of Duty game to join the Game Pass lineup.
Modern Warfare 3 has generally received positive feedback from the gaming community, though critics have noted its single-player campaign as being too short and somewhat lacklustre. Despite this, the game remains a popular instalment in the long-running franchise.
The announcement of Modern Warfare 3 joining Xbox Game Pass is expected imminently and could align with recent changes to the subscription service’s pricing. On July 10, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate saw a price increase from $16.99 to $19.99 per month, reflecting a $3 hike. Similarly, the PC Game Pass subscription now costs $11.99 per month, up from the previous $9.99. These adjustments ensure continued access to day-one releases and other exclusive content.
It’s funny that this game and other Call of Duty Games are all coming to the game pass, while it was clearly stated that nothing much would be changed in the upcoming years regarding Call of Duty after buying activision. Well, lets see how things will go when the game is being added to the gamepass.
