In an exciting development for our community, we are pleased to announce the commencement of a complete overhaul of our Rust server. All existing data files, configuration files, and plugins have been permanently deleted, paving the way for a fresh start. This ambitious project aims to rebuild the server from the ground up, incorporating new features and improvements.
To address some of the most frequently asked questions we’ve received over the past several days, we have prepared a brief FAQ:
- What changes can we expect in the new server?
- The server will feature a completely revamped setup, with new data files, configurations, and plugins designed to enhance the gaming experience. To limit the number of problems with plugin conflicts, we will be taking Mevent as our house brand, as he keeps his designs simple yet effective enough for everyone to understand. This also means that the old shop system is making a return.
- What kind of server setup do you aim for?
- A simple, yet enjoyable server for community members. This server will be protected with the usual 24/7 program Rustadmin.
- When will the new server be live?
- While we don’t have an exact date yet, we are working diligently to bring the new server online as soon as possible. Stay tuned for updates! We expect to have the server fully running again on the next upcoming wipe cycle in August.
- What kind of map are you willing to go for?
- The usual 4500k sized map. No custom map. however.. I can make a deal that, if we reach above 20+ active rust players on our server and we can keep that, I’m more than happy to go big again with a custom map.
We are excited about the future of our Rust server and look forward to sharing this new and improved experience with our community. Thank you for your continued support!
