A major update just hit the grounds of Enshrouded, giving us many new features and quality-of-life changes to the game. Every gamer has started gathering all the needs for its new base build and looking around at what has been changed. Well, let’s wait no longer! Let’s dig into it and see what has been changed and what has been added to the game of Enshrouded. We created a small recap of what has been added with the most important things for you to know about.
New Dungeons have been added to the game. The Hollow Halls is a new place to go. There is 1 Hollow Hall in each biome you find. ( At this moment, it would count as 4 dungeons ). These dungeons are dangerous, so prepare for some fighting in these dungeons as new monsters have been added to the game as well.
The 60hz limitations have vanished and man, what an increased performance we have gotten with this patch. I had never had such a great time, playing a wonderful game like this. The distance, The detail… I would say, crank up those performances and see how fast you fall in love with the game.
Many new items can be crafted for your base to increase the rested timer, as well as for pure decorations. UI has been redone for all the workbenches, making it much easier to find. Got a magic chest with items in it? Well, it’s your lucky day as even that had a rework, meaning it’s now possible to craft items directly with the resources from the magic chest. A win-win!
A major game changer is that if enshrouded is getting a new update next time, it will be patched much faster. Before, we had to redownload the whole game from Steam, A whopping 30 GB. For some, it can be downloaded within minutes while others could take up quite some time if there is a bad internet connection. However, now only the affected files are updated that need an update.
