This route allows you to obtain the tools, without having to be at a high level to obtain it. What we however do advise you to bring with you is two pickaxes. The better the grade, the faster you mine as always.
Firstly, The best way to reach the area is by teleporting towards the revelwoods. From there, glide yourself down towards the East and land as far away as possible, close to the pillars of creation.
From there, make your way to the golden loot chest that you can find at the edge of the massive rock formation on which the other side contains the desert. From there, attempt to find yourself a way up, by digging up. Make sure to make a few “edges” where you can double-jump spam on it. ( keep bashing space to jump and glide and roll, to manipulate your landing area to boost yourself up )
keep in mind that you have to aim towards the big wall that leads towards the desert area. If you reach that area, it will become easier to traverse. It might take a few tries, but once you have the hang of it, traversing large mountains will become a lot easier.
If you manage to reach behind the wall, go into the second hole on your left. This is across the cliff where you normally should pass if you take this item the usual way with a quest. If you walked correctly, you would end up in the centre of an active volcano with a destroyed dungeon, an ancient runestone to read and the Masonry Tools you have been looking for.
