COD – Cold War Zombies – FireBase Z Easter Egg Guide

In this guide, we will explain to you how to complete the Firebase Z Easter egg. Please be advised that this Easter egg is quite challenging and you might fail a few times before you can know all the steps. Luckily you have found us, as we got you covered with this.

To start performing this easter egg, it’s crucial to have the power active as well for the pack a punch. To perform this, follow the waypoint markers that are shown on the map to progress your adventure. Once you spawn in the game, it’s advised to speak with Ravenov as soon as possible. While the voice actor triggers in round two, it’s possible to pre-trigger the conversation in round 1.

Head up for the main area once you have completed the conversation. A new icon is shown where the teleporter is located. To access this teleporter, you can buy the door that’s next to the quick revive to take the stairs to the rooftop. 

Sidenote: If you have the chance, trigger some challenges for rewards. A legendary reward has a large chance of obtaining the wonder weapon, which we need to complete the main easter egg. 

A smaller chance is that you dont get the weapon, and it would save you time to just quit the session and restart it, as collecting it manually or by luck with the mystery box is a higher risk of failing than if you would get it from a challenge. But, that’s my opinion. 

Once you enter the main area, 3 new icons are shown. These three icons are three reactors that need to be activated. Once triggered, a small mini event will trigger, where zombies will bash on 3 potential locations. As usual, slay all the zombies within the area until the bar is full. 

Repeat this until you have completed all three reactors. Once completed, head back to Ravenov as soon as possible when you can, as the pack-a-punch will be working.

Head over to the nasty DR. Peck, which can be found in the Mission control area. The same area where you performed one of the three reactor mini-events. He flips you over and won’t keep his part of the deal. You get mad and want to sucker punch the guy, but the windows make it impossible.

A truth Serum

Head back to Ravenov and explain the situation to him. He gives you a card, that you need to use to obtain some vials. There are three locations where these vials can be. One in the starter zone, and two in the main area.

  • In the starter zone, just before the stairs go up, you have the equipment Storage. you will find a locker with a keypad on it just right along the wall.
  • In the Main zone, inside the office of the Colonel. You will find a locked locker with the same keypad on it.
  • In the main zone, at the engineering section, Located on the lower levels outside of Mission Control is where you will find the 3th one. Yet again, same keypad.

Once you have completed all three of them, use them in a mixer. This can be found in the laboratory “field laboratory” on the table on the wall. When added to the mixer, another short mini-event will occur. Protect the mixer at all costs! Once completed, interact with the Agent Delivery System to add the gas into the system. Interact with it again and you picked it up.

Now that you have collected the Agent Delivery System, head outside to the upper area of Mission Control. this area is also known as the OPC. When you reach the area, look for a vent that’s above Dr Peck. Place everything that you have collected and head back to Dr.Peck to interact with him.

Dr.Peck dancing like a boss

A new shortcut is played, where Dr.Peck will dance. Once he finished his dance moves and the macarena, head over towards the data centre and search for the rocky defence area. This area is known as they are coming from that side with rifts during a xx amount of rounds that you have to fend off.

Interact with the Memory Transference Station. Once performed, you can then grab an Essence trap from the system to start capturing mimics.your best luck on finding the right memory is by searching for anything that’s related to a purple item. So, for example, a medical bag could be a perfect candidate for being the right mimic to catch.

If your mimic its health is not low enough, the trap will break and you will have to get a new one. If you captured one, head back to the Memory Transference Station and insert it. If you get the right one, a sound will be played. 

Repeat these steps 3 times. Once fully completed, a floppy disk will appear, grab the disk and head for the planning office. Go to the first floor and find the computer where you can enter the disk to open the doors to the OCP. ( we also call this the dome from the older mw3 days ) 

Go inside the OCP. A short story will be played and something odd is being spawned in. Once completed, head for Dr.Peck and start to have a chat with him. He will shut his windows. 

after you have spoken with him, Ravenov will provide you with a code that you can use to unlock the locker next to Dr.Peck’s office for the AetherMeter. Once obtained, grab yourself a shovel. This can be found, leaning at the sidewall in the scorched defence area. Enter the left bunker to obtain the shovel.

When you have them both, search for 3 canisters that are buried around the map. 

  • 1 in the corner of the open lot area. When dug up, it will spawn a few fake canisters. make sure to pick the right one, otherwise you might regret it later. make sure you pick up one that has no black smoke coming from it. This canister can be placed in the mission control reactor.
  • 1 at the back of the jungle defence area. When triggered, you have to remain in the area and stand your ground. Once completed, place the canister in the military control reactor
  • 1 canister can be found in the hospital area. When interacted, it will start bouncing on all sides like a rubber ball. you want to stay close to it. Make sure to hit it with your wonder weapon that you obtained earlier. Place this container in the Data Center Aether Reactor.

Once completed, visit the OCP again. A short video is been played once more. Once finished. wait for a call for the next step. This mostly occurs after a round or two.

BEWARE! When you perform the next steps, there will be no way back. Make sure you are ready for a fight!

When you get the call, head over to the planning area again to start aligning the satellite. When completed and you notice a ? on the panel, head for it. when finished, visit the OCP and interact with the panel that’s in front of the stairs.

Oboii, orda has spawned! Head over to the courtyard and start battling the boss. Once completed, a final video is shown.
