To obtain linen, you would have to find flax. This can only be found in the Revelwood area. This area is a stage 2 area and requires some progression before entering the deep jungles of Revelwood.
Before even thinking about obtaining linen, it is strongly advised to have the hunter survivor unlocked. If not, I would strongly recommend doing so, as otherwise, you won’t be coming far in the game without the proper tools.
Sidenote from myself: While most guides state that there is plenty of flax to be found in Revelwood, is it quite overreacted. I hardly obtain 10 – 15 of flax each trip. I mostly go to places where I know that they grow there rather than going full Leroy Jenkins not knowing what awaits me.
There can also be 3 flax being found growing inside plant boxes in diadwn. In lucky cases, you will also find some of them growing near the village itself.
