Yesterday, players of the online game Rust could not log into their favourite survival worlds due to an ongoing outage at Easy Anti Cheat, better known as Epic Games. It can be a huge bummer when you would be unable to play a game when this occurs. Luckily, it was something small and it was been resolved quickly so that everyone was able to play again.
What went wrong?
Many users experienced the message “Verify ID token” that the ID was incorrect of EAC. Not only rust had problems, but more games across the world have been facing this ongoing issue for at least an hour or two.
